Pros

It was a pleasure to provide services to others needing help. Goodwill has dedicated employees in their Employment Programs and should be commended for their hard work.

Cons

Too much work for one person after so many administrative functions were added.

Pros

I have been mentored by older staff members and offered additional opportunities to gain knowledge and experience. Working with clients to help them take steps to independence is very rewarding.

Cons

We're a bit chronically understaffed and overworked. We never turn away clients in need, but it's hard for us to hire new people it seems.

Pros

Benefits, like-minded coworkers, really helps the underserved, generally casual, open dialogue with supervisors, personal satisfaction

Cons

Programs being cut, long-term employees being fired unceremoniously, Human Resources department is a joke and rule by fear, limited paid holidays
