Pros

Flexible schedule and satisfaction in helping others in health and wellness. Co-workers and other staff are wonderful to work with.

Cons

Not great benefits, lowest paid in area for instructors and trainers, upper management (above GMs) very negative and constantly trying to manage with fear tactic. Members often are dissatisfied with billings and membership cancelation process.

Work-life balance is great and it is a fun atmosphere in which to work.

Cons

The pay is not that great. If you are lucky you will get one raise (up to 25 cents) in your first year. You start at $8.00.

creating relationships with members and their children free gym membership (but I never used it. Gym was filthy and the employees were rude. I PAID to go somewhere else)

Cons

Minimum wage was what all kid's care workers were paid (with the exception of the manager and night supervisor). Some ladies had been there up to 10 years without ONE raise. Proper materials like rubber gloves, Clorox wipes, and Lysol were often not provided. In Kid's Care we encountered lots of fecal matter, urine, blood, and vomit. We had to make do in ways that were inappropriate. Workers were encouraged to not tell parents if children were hurt during their time in Kids Care. There was no maximum capacity on the amount of children that could be dropped off at one time, and no set worker to child ratio.
