Pros

- can set own working hours - online, free to leave whenever

Cons

- the pay is extremely low for tutors and there is no room for increased pay. - customer success manages lure students into packages even when extra lessons are not necessary because they get paid extra. - change the business model as they please, which affects the tutor pay without consulting with the tutors first. (profit-oriented changes) - they are allowed to treat and pay tutors low wages because the the tutors are contractors and they are technically not employed by the company.

Pros

Great colleagues! Hybrid opportunities and remote opportunities. A young team with great talents from around the world. Vision with great impact and with a service that solves a big challenge.

Cons

Burnout tactics and focused only on sales numbers for obvious reasons. Managers without empathy and friendliness. Monthly meetings with no real data and with lies around letting people go and improvements on the work-life balance. No pay increase after a year - not even close to an inflation rate Low morale in the team - nothing works. Internal systems are down frequently which affects everyone. Minimum pension contributions: only what's required by employment law Not good benefits (no discounts for other companies or learning budgets which is a norm in the current market). They began to offer pizza and beer on Fridays but in the last 8 months, they stopped it. We didn't have an office manager to run activities (for example Christmas, Halloween, and gifts exchange). Bad management with strategies implemented by people without experience!
