Pros

WFH flexibility, no time bounds from Globant. However your client can ask you to WFO. It’s all up to the client. Office infra is pretty good, doable. Magarpatta location has better vibes. Notice period is of 2 months, also negotiable.

Cons

Office culture is bit disconnected. Ppl are boring. No fun activities, it’s all work for your client account and go home. Client accounts are also closing their business with Globant. Heard Globant has increased rates as they have brought AI culture.. incurring cost from clients it seem. No job security. Project gets closed in 3-4 months then you are out on DoJo (bench) which is worst. Dojo culture is very bad, they ask you to unnecessarily do trainings, which are mostly irrelevant or not of our interest. Forcing to do trainings as per Globant needs, but that need keeps changing every week. So it’s pathetic. Dojo is basically to harass the employees on bench so that they leave asap. Ppl are there on bench for longer duration than in project.. if someone wants to waste time, can consider Globant. No hikes, literally no hikes. I have heard there has been no hikes since 3-4 years as well. No promotions. No idea what is their hike and promotion criteria. Nobody discusses this. You will have 2 managers, one will be your career mentor other will be from project. No idea how both of them come to employee rating conclusion. They both don’t have much idea what you are doing. HRs are there just for the company, not for employees.. most of the HRs are super rude, nobody shares any information or it’s terribly hard to find information. No advance portals for employee management. Like a Lala company they are still using excels.. I haven’t seen any major perks wrt upskilling or education. They will give you Udemy Business when asked but that also has limitations. Globant university is there but again limitations.. it has courses which are preferential to Globant. At the time of joining you will be told about so many benefits but none of them exist, they will tell you later the policy has been changed. Don’t fall for these lollipops and ask for a hefty salary at the start only, as there will be no hike or promotion even if you will work for 5-6 years. Even if you are on project work, they will ask you to do Globant work as well and at times you are into multiple projects for the same client account.
