Pros

A great bunch of people that work autonomously to provide a premium service, and excellent customer support. Allows employees the tools to grow.

Cons

No real complaints, being a technology company in the minerals processing industry at the moment business is slow with no large projects in sight.

Pros

Formerly Falconbridge, which became Xstrata, then Glencore. Lots of opportunities within the company to move between different departments, and different sites. People are really wonderful to work with.

Cons

Sometimes you have to push for what you want. You need to put yourself in front. No one will come handing you anything on a silver platter.

Pros

International exposure, interesting business model, opportunities to be exposed to business transactions that are unusual.

Cons

It has lost its meritocracy a while ago and a lot of the smart/good people have gotten paid too much and left. Also the company is involved in a lot of what one would call morally ambiguous activity - only a matter of time before this catches up with them.
