It's a fairly large organization, so it's easy to find people with similar interests and knowledge base to discuss and resolve problems. It's a great place to learn new skills and diversify, however sometimes it does not match with the current industry trends.

Cons

As a state institution everything has to go out to bid, so our own expertise is never utilized when making decisions or implementing solutions within the organization.
