Pros

This is a student assistantship that takes care of the tution and pays some stipend for daily expenses. The tution being waived is the biggest advantage.

Cons

The stipend is barely enough to pay the bills. Lot of work, very hectic, but its towards your own education.

Pros

Excellent academic atmosphere, lots of opportunities to advance if you want to pursue higher education

Cons

Long hours, unstable upper management, no room for "flexibility" within department.

Pros

Resources are boundless, professors are some of the smartest in the world in their respective fields. Advisors are willing to help you get to wherever you want to be.

Cons

Traffic in Atlanta can be a bit messy :) Seriously though, there aren't many things bad about this place as long as you're working in a lab where you really get into the subject matter.
