- Extremely intelligent and hard-working colleagues - Huge variety of work in all fields of civil and environmental engineering - Professors are very intelligent and knowledgeable - Top 5 engineering school - Tons of extracurricular opportunities

Cons

- Sometimes engineers are lacking in social acumen - Teaching is not emphasized to the same extent as research. As a result, the quality of the teaching is entirely dependent on the will of the professor, and most professors view teaching as a chore. - Doesn't have the prestige of MIT or Berkeley, even though we are highly ranked - Dearth of attractive women
