Pros

Excellent facilities for students to work under the able guidance of experienced professors. Research can be done with a lot of freedom without too much micro-management.

Cons

People can get too narrow-sided with their research. Although seminars tend to increase your knowledge, it's hard to follow the recent advancements made in the Chemical R&D.

Pros

Lots of opportunities for collaborative research. Very good and well-established DSP group. Stimulating research and laid-back work environment.

Cons

Communication between the administrative offices of various departments is very bad and difficult to deal with. The administrative burden in general is heavy.

Pros

Georgia Tech is a great place to be a graduate student. The program length is appropriate for obtaining appropriate experience and knowledge to be successful.

Cons

I enjoyed my time at this university and do not have anything negative to say about it. Atlanta, as a city, is also very nice.
