Pros

Variety of brands and functions to learn from, incredibly smart colleagues, overall a solid promotion of work/life balance, A+ campus with on-site amenities.

Cons

Rotational culture drives marketers to make short-term, near-sighted decisions unhealthy for the brand - also means you'll have 2-3 managers per year, which doesn't allow for optimal career development. Company is so large with so many layers that it's easy to get lost and go unnoticed and unappreciated. Depending on your area, very slow and unexciting career growth opportunities. Then the obvious - declining brands in declining categories - inevitable takeover target.

Pros

Great people and brands. Fair pay.

Cons

Too focused on Wall Street. Froze the pension to cut costs to deliver earnings. Employees are just overhead.

Pros

Competitive benefits and salary.

Cons

Lack of management. No growth after working 10 years for the company. No work /life balance. Be aware that that this is a company who values their shareholders more than their employees. Even when the company makes a profit, nobody is immune to losing their job.
