Pros
Overall, amazing people to work with - your work friends become your best friends. Incredible benefits and job security. Company is genuinely focused on employee development and it's a great place to climb the corporate ladder especially if you are a woman. They want more female leadership.
Cons
Big company = slow. The last few years General Mills really fell behind the pace of change that was happening in the food industry. There are some really great brands but they are not keeping up with the movement happening toward better for you, healthy, organic offerings. However, the company has recognized this and is moving in the right direction - and it's an exciting one.
