Pros

General Mills has good benefits including sick leave, bereavement, health, dental and vision insurance, bonding leave for newborn children among other benefits.

Cons

The hours are pretty long at our location (12.5 hr. shifts). Also, there is some heavy lifting involved, and the pay progression program leaves a lot to be desired.

Pros

Benefits, pay, vacation, and PTO are unmatchable. I found a spot that was the best fit for me I've ever had in a position.

Cons

Misogyny, the culture among off-shift operators is extremely cruel and extroverted operators are protected despite poor attendance & lots of rule-breaking and mistakes, I suffered three breakups over 5 years due to workplace gossip reaching my personal life, I had my tires popped and was harassed multiple times outside of work by a felon coworker when I promise I did nothing but try to do the right thing and get along.
