Unfortunately, the execution of this program is extremely disorganized and poorly managed. Leadership relies heavily on micromanagement, operates with fear-based tactics, and lacks clear structure or effective communication. Daily meetings are unorganized and often unproductive. There is clear favoritism toward certain employees, while others are isolated and disregarded, which creates a toxic and demoralizing work environment. The program is severely overstaffed for the level of coordination in place. With over 60 employees, leadership struggles to manage workloads, scheduling, travel logistics, and basic operations effectively. Budgeting and resource management feel careless, with constant overextension rather than strategic planning. This role requires intense travel into extremely unsafe conditions with little regard for employee well-being. Team members have experienced dog bites, bed bug infestations, falls down unsafe steps, exposure to drug activity in neighborhoods, and even concussions. Safety protocols feel reactive rather than preventative, and staff often feel expendable rather than protected. I left a stable job for this role expecting meaningful impact and professional growth, but instead experienced instability, poor leadership, and unsafe working conditions. The emotional, physical, and financial toll was overwhelming.
