Pros

Provides consistent pay and trainings for your job effectively. There is opportunity for growth if you look for it. Serves many contracts providing opportunity to move jobs if desired. Provides opportunity to get security clearances. Once hired, there are more jobs offered internally.

Cons

They are contract based jobs- some very well established, others are not. If you wish you to move up in the company, you better keep active and find the opportunities but the options are there- they don't feature company resources very well. Follow up with contacts as they can lose track of people during onboarding processes.

Pros

The company has your back; it shows how much it cares for its employees. Personnel moves are done in a way that makes sense, and they often put the right person in the right job and make changes quickly when necessary.

Cons

As contractors, you are bound to what the customer asks. And there is not much control over it, since you are contractually bound to support that customer. Even then, GDIT corporate makes sure to reach a good middle ground when changes are requested.

Pros

None. There is nothing positive to say.

Cons

Toxic. I documented legitimate concerns in good faith and was later terminated without clear justification. This company suffers from deeply dysfunctional leadership. Leadership operates from a default position of distrust, frequently disregarding employee input. Leadership makes decisions without consulting subject matter experts or follow legal laws. They do whatever they want and get away with it. Leadership allows managers to break company policy along with Federal, State, and Local law. Leadership does not hold mangers accountable, enforce policies consistently, or protect employees who raise concerns in good faith. Leadership routinely ignores established policies, bypasses standard procedures, and makes decisions without documentation or due process. Requests for clarification or adherence to standard procedures are met with resistance, deflection, or silence. Raising legitimate concerns is quietly noted — and later punished. If you value ethical leadership, procedural integrity, ask direct questions about how compliance concerns are handled. Pay close attention to how defensive the answers become.
