Where to start. Benefits have been eroded from health insurance being switched to a expensive HSA to elimination of leave buyouts. Gets to the point whenever see a new email from some VP of whatever I cringe expecting another benefit to be eliminated or reduced. Came on expecting many opportunities, very limited. Company revers retired military and often prior rank automatically converts to a management job vs achievements and experience. Heck the CEO is a retired admiral. Came onboard this big defense contractor expecting competitive pay, and good benefits. NONE OF THE ABOVE. Basically I have spent my entire tenure looking for other opportunities at places that offer good pay and benefits.

Unfortunately the bottom line is to make the client happy whether the path is right or wrong. This is just the nature of contracting, not necessarily GDIT's fault. Not much technical competence in Management.
