It was great in the beginning but people started leaving for very legitimate reasons

The people are hardworking. The projects are interesting.

Cons

Big issue with losing talent. Management is unengaged. People are overworked because of the lack of staffing. People are not acknowledged for their hard work. Pay is not competitive. Future work outlooks are not encouraging.

-Company has a lot of smart people -They have their foot in the door on nuclear space contracts -Pension

Cons

-Bad pay -Only promote every 2 years -Recent lack of ability to get any big contracts -Recently laid off a lot of people without much consideration for whether these people were critical to contracts (they were) -Very few/poorly prepared employee engagement activities -No 9/80 (they are discussing it now finally) -No people my age (I am 26) -IT is almost completely unresponsive

I love the people! There is really good work-life balance. Benefits are good and you get to learn a lot from mentors and coworkers. Everyone is willing to help out. The pay is competitive now that there has been an increase in salary value for the entire company.

Cons

I wish there was more WFH. More inclusion and diversity.
