Pros

Not really much to speak of unless you like being lazy, take 3 hours lunch, do little work and be in a dead end job with zero potential in promotion and nothing to learn.

Cons

You want a paycheck only and dont care about learning anything and want to rot in your dead end job work here. Management is clulesd. Lots of fancy process document that not a single engineer follows, its all for show. Pay is poor and technology is poorer. If you want learn something new in technology this aint the place. Dont waste your valuable time here. Its boring. Couldnt wait to get the hell out.

Pros

The only pro is the Benefits

Cons

Do not work for this company unless you plan on giving up your life and other commitments. They work you like a dog! Lots of overtime without extra compensation. Approximately 20 hrs overtime a week that I'm averaging!

Pros

-Strong bond between coworkers who are getting screwed over just as much as you, especially overseas -The travel USED to be really great, now you might as well just be blindfolded and locked in your hotel room every where you go.

Cons

-Don't work anywhere but a 40 hour job in San Diego. The money isn't worth it and they are paying less and less for the same hazards. -If you work a deployable position, be prepared to work 7 days, 12+ hours a day making straight time with a modest increase in pay and literally the same vacation time as those sitting on the beach while you're living in a tent. -Be prepared to understand upper and middle management's main philosophy that everyone working should be grateful to them for the opportunity to work mandatory 6-7 days a week when working and not on a deployment/business trip. -Rule #2 is: "If you don't like it, you can quit because you're all replaceable". That's a direct quote from management repeated at several weekly meetings, which have also been non-existent the past couple of years because management doesn't care what any one who actually does the work thinks. It's funny because that's what most people do. Why do you think there are so many openings? -This is a big one. IF you work hard for this company, you will NOT be rewarded despite their claim that they are performance driven. There are many cases and I have seen paperwork from executives explaining how employees who went well beyond their job responsibilities still cannot have more than "meets" on their performance reviews. Meets is right in the middle. No employee is allowed to have an overall rating of exceeds no matter how hard you work. And we all know this is true because 80-90% of the people will show each other their reviews and compensation increases. The reason for this is so they don't have to justify more than a 1-2.5% annual raise. -Tribal knowledge is what keeps some people feeling like they have power here. -Systemically horrible corporate culture propagated by a president who it is clear, especially after meeting in person a couple times, cares little about the people making them money and interacting with their customers on a daily basis. -The claims of money and travel aren't worth the headache. You'd be better off taking a risk with a startup company or just working for an established direct competitor.
