Pros

GA was a great company 20 years ago, but as it has grown it's lost it's desire to be cutting edge.

Cons

Company is buried in process over product with too many non-value added people trying to justify their existence rather than contributing to the product.

Pros

Remote job, good salary ($130k)

Cons

Company is private and therefore is not incentivized to improve its financial performance as a public company must. It’s run by engineers that lack business savvy, leading to layoffs earlier this year through poor management. Even company all-hands meetings are poorly run and confusing, where the speakers are never clearly introduced (and that’s the CEO leading the meetings). Horrible work-life balance too.

Cons

Budget cuts contracts not coming through SAP behind a few years lots of single points of failure so hard to take time off Not as welcoming as other companies Growth opportunity is moderate
