Pros

There is plenty of work to be done = job security. The people you meet and work with are great.

Cons

If you are retired military you are a shoe in for a promotion, but if you did not you are screwed. Some teams are ran like a military unit, meaning you are expected to bend over backward for the greater good, but no compensation for long hours or extra $$. The people that have been there for years are regularly asked to train their new boss, for the promotion they were looking forward to. As a former service member myself I have been around too much of the good ol' boys club. That is why many of us did not stay in the military.

Campus in Torrey Pines is really nice (gym, pool, volleyball/basketball courts) Generally laid back environment (good work-life balance) Employees are generally good but highly depends on where you work

Cons

Management tends not to be very good Little, if any, job training Poor job mobility (could be doing exact same job for 10+ years) Constant reorganization

Pros

Able to work with great technology. Up to date hardware in data centers. Provides training on items that you support.

Cons

Frequently pulled off projects to work on other projects. Put on so many projects it is difficult to complete them in a timely fashion.
