Pros

Relatively good job security due to robust drone sales. Challenging work, at least from what I can see initially. Good people, at least at my level.

Cons

Company structure, and news not always evident, at least in my area. Product documentation doesn't always seem easy to discover.

Pros

Flexible work schedule, benefits package (one of the few places still offering a pension plan), competitive salary. Onsite fitness centers in many buildings, some of which are better than others. Many employee discounts available.

Cons

The product support engineering (technical writing) department is stagnant and disharmonious. Very little attention is given to what is best for employees. In fact, very little attention is given to anything beyond what the next set of metrics numbers look like. There is very little advanced planning nor attempt to make the department efficient. This leads to a boom or bust workflow wherein one team works extra hours while other teams languish in boredom. Very little opportunity for advancement within the department. Annual review system is severely broken.

Pros

Good work/life balance. Support is 24/7/365, but not hectic.

Cons

Working for a manufacturing company is quite different than working for a tech company. Things can move slowly
