Pros

Although I spent 10 years with General Atomics, going on deployments to countries like Iraq, Kuwait, Niger, Africa and others, The customers I worked with face to face on a regular basis being deployed loved what I did and how I approached and solved each problem as it arose. Although Linden Blue frequented our lab, there was never a feeling that whatever was achieved was noted and showed loyalty.

Cons

The downsides are even after a long period of working for General Atomics, proving my skills and adaptability, there was little or no respect coming back from Managerial staff. Being advanced to tech level VI and wishing for more responsibilities meant nothing. It seemed incompetence was the accepted norm for the Production lab no matter how I tried to improve myself and gain status through determination and focus in my position, it was all for naught. It also was evident that a hostile atmosphere was injected into my workplace with no support forth coming from supervisors. It was a focused aggressive action centered on removing me from the workplace. I was an experienced and skilled technician and having proved myself numerous times, it did not matter according to the changing atmosphere in the Production lab. Seniority and time in position is not accepted as providing the least amount of respect from the supervisory staff.
