Surprised the company is still afloat

Pros

Only benefits, oh and also if you like privacy for taking naps on the job, taking excessively long lunches and being able to get away with doing nothing like most people here.

Cons

Senior/upper management all need to be fired. There should be a review of all management each year by employees. You’d find out why the turnover rate is sitting at 33%(30+ people quit this year..so far). How we’ve lost so many key players and they don’t rehire. They will roll their job over to you(with no additional pay!). Should make people wonder why so many people are quitting.. ah I know! Extremely low pay! Getting super overloaded with work-then telling your bosses and they do.. guess what.. NOTHING...but give you more work :)!

Pros

Pension and 401k plans and matching by the company. Some employees What we do protects and saves many

Cons

The division of the facilities department is ridiculous. Each site is different and should be treated that way. The management structure is too top heavy and methods are so conveluted it keeps the ground level people from doing there job. Tech levels and structure doesn't exist and when you ask about moving up and what to do to get there they don't have an answer. Training budget is non existent and the budget hey do have is for the entire company. Training is required to stay current and maintain license but without a budget for non-management nothing to do.

Growing rapidly

Pros

Lots of opportunities to innovate and work with really smart people. 9/80 work schedule, pension and 401k. Rapid growth means lots of opportunities to advance. Promotions are based much more on contribution to the product, than time with the company, or amount of overtime worked.

Cons

People whe were here when the company was vdry small are disproportionately in high positions of leadership, and many of them are not that great at leading. While promotions are based on merit, raises seem to be generally the same for everyone and usually not that great.
