Pros

It's a job and it pays, albeit very little.

Cons

Everything else about working here sucks. You never get enough time to do anything. Managers are constantly on your case because you're never going fast enough. The idiotic people in upper management decided to cut costs by cutting staff, so you have to do the work of 1.5 people with no time. You will be berated when you fail to meet unrealistic expectations. Customers have noticed that the store is understaffed and always complain about it. Unfortunately, upper management doesn't care about customer or employee complaints. Gap only cares about how much money they make. Nobody cares about you as a person. You are just a tool for making them more money.

Pros

Very tenured leadership who have the recipe for success, even in a down economy. Community involvement is incredible. And the ability to work in the office or work a day from home is always welcomed.

Cons

Quality of life suffers during the worse downturns. Its expected, but tough sometimes. Growth into China may impact leadership's success of US if left unchecked.
