Pros

Gap, Inc is a nice company to work for, with good people in general.

Cons

The salaries, always a "secret", because of the fact that they give different /better ones to less qualified new people. It's a disappointment finding that out after many years of faithful service, that teenagers are making more than I am as assistant store manager. That's when I left. It's a shame because really I enjoyed my years there. Just a heads up, salaries are not fair.

We’re sorry to hear this. When Doris and Don Fisher founded Gap in 1969, they both contributed the same amount of money. The Fishers continued to run Gap Inc. together, as equal partners with an equal investment. Cons

Management in my store was extremely unprofessional in my store. It felt like a high school situation. Only the popular employees got time-off requests, convenient shifts, etc No parking
