      Pros

      I worked at 2 stores: loved one, hated the other. The first one was one of the largest in the country and the management was pretty good (although too many cooks in the kitchen). Opportunities to advance were awesome. Environment was fun, professional and supportive. Then I transferred states and stores. The new store was run poorly and it showed--high employee turnover, disorganized management and low morale.

      Cons

      Hands-off corporate management can be good or bad, depending on the quality of store managers. Store management is like a private club.

      It's a big company with great brand recognition. They also some of the best benefits out there.

      Cons

      Senior Management turnover and lack of company focus/ direction creates many challenges. Work/ life balance not good, particularly in Design, Production & Merchandising.

      A good job to work your way up in Fashion

      You stay busy Reasonable pay for part time employees Recognition is given when a job is done well Organized daily goals A great way to work your way up in the fashion marketing business

      It is hard to get days off around holiday when you are a good employee because they want to utilize your skills With the economy some days it is hard to make the sales goal of the day
