Pros

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. I was there for 6 years and I received awards and accolades my entire time; that is until management changed. They brought in a "bulldog from corporate" and people started dropping like flies, both account managers and producers. This "bulldog" started harassing myself and many of my colleagues, if you didn't fit in with the clique you weren't wanted. I was harassed and discriminated against until I was finally laid off (I refused to quit). They "did away with my position" but the funny thing is I was contacted by a recruiter two months later for my old position except they drastically reduced the salary. They do not care about their employees and once you are no longer valuable to them or they feel you make too much they will do whatever they can to get you out.

Cons

Management, work/life balance, unreasonable workload

Pros

Well known organization - so the name recognition is helpful. They also do a good job of leveraging research / data / trends as a sales tool.

Cons

There isn't enough white space to describe the PTSD from this job. Managers absolutely do NOT care to train or support you. Even if you don't come from the industry, you'll start getting emails within weeks of starting....on Saturday...asking about your pipeline, how many deals you're on track to close, etc. The environment is completely hostile, with producers who "walked past a company's HQ 4 years ago" claiming that lead to be their property and you will get a nasty-gram if you put in a cold call. This is a factory....cattle herding....completely awful. I'm literally scarred from this job.

Pros

Remote/hybrid Flexibility with hours, but when you’re expected to work 15 hours a day, flexibility is a given

Cons

Toxic leadership Don’t bother bringing concerns to them, they have no intentions of changing and you’ll be seen as a problem for bringing up issues Hustle culture, long hours, and weekends Churn and burn environment Revolving door, High turnover causes those who stick around to be stretched thin, overworked and underpaid Everyone leaves for the same reasons, leadership doesn’t care to make improvements Golden handcuffs, offer $ for people to stay Promotions and raises are too little too late You will always be doing the role above you but getting paid to do the role below you Workplace Bullying / Poor treatment of employees by managers/coworkers is allowed
