Pros

There is a lot of room to grow in this company for those new to the workforce. There are a lot of opportunities to learn about the business and industry.

Cons

Consistency between departments/managers/offices is lacking. Pay raises are not guaranteed and pay rate tends to be on the low side (if you are not in sales). For an insurance brokerage, benefits are dismal.

Some offices are better than others, good work life balance. Have a great intern program. One of the top companies within the industry.

Cons

Some offices are too stuck in old ways of doing business i.e. cold calling instead of paying to attend networking events.

Pros

The people were wonderful and dedicated. I made many great friends while working there. The offices were fairly nice.

Cons

Training by trial and error. Constantly over claim caps unbeknownst to clients. Non-existent work/life balance. Redundancy of motion was ridiculous with outdated software and a controlling micro-manager for a boss. Raises were 1% if received at all. As motivation, we were told GB only owed us a paycheck, not a raise. This was regardless of the work product delivered. Very, very disheartening.
