      Pros

      Great people I work with.

      Cons

      No movement for women to progress their career. Men make up more than 75% of producers. Women are looked over and made to process, amongst, sell, and service clients. There is no work life balance for women, and are paid MUCH less than male counterparts.

There are many successful women working throughout Gallagher, at a leadership level and within other roles, including sales and service. Without knowledge of your specific role within Gallagher, it is difficult to respond to your comments regarding compensation, but sales and service roles are compensated differently. Compensation for Gallagher producers, both male and female, is weighted based upon their sales performance.

      Walking on eggshells- look elsewhere.

      Pros

      The HR department has a very streamlined onboarding process and the company's systems are fairly modern. Some nice employees.

      Cons

      The particular office I was working in did not have the best environment. Many of the employees seemed to be afraid and unhappy. Be prepared to be blamed for many things that you have no control over. Also, don't expect much patience when you are a new employee. Very weird office with high turnover. Is this really "The Gallagher Way" of treating employees? What a shame; I'm glad to be gone.

      Cheap Company and Huge Turnover

      Pros

      There really aren't any that I can think of, pretty sad right?

      Cons

      This company does not give annual raises but posts all over how much money they are making and the turnover is insane. Employees quit like you change underwear. The training is non-existant but they expect you to know everything. They micro manage every little thing you do and have favorite employees that they make report everything they see to them. There is no work-life balance at this company. If you have a dentist appointment or doctor appointment, you have to make up all your time no matter how short or long it is. They clock watch you to the minute. The gossip is never ending in this company and the managers allow it. You would think working for an insurance company, they would offer good insurance? Think again, worst insurance I have had at any job ever. Christmas party is bringing in a side dish for a potluck. What a slap in the face.
