Many good people trying to do the right thing for for clients despite formidable managerial, technical and organizational obstacles
Cons
It's all about what you've done for me lately. No managerial long term view or strategy. All that counts is new business with little or no valuing of persistency or client retention. Business model of buying small firms makes integration and consistency impossible. No regional or national cohesion or sense of purpose. Support staff are not valued, resulting in damaging turnover rates.
