Pros

- You get to see what a lot of companies are working on. - Your peers, in the right group, are great. - The business in the right areas are booming. - It feels cool to work there.

Cons

- Management is unbelievably rude when they don't like you. - Zero understanding of you as a human. Numbers or GTFO. - The lied regarding bonus compensation. - Team structure changed every year for years. - Turnover is amazingly high, and management doesn't seem to care. People just mysteriously disappear. - Everyone is degraded against top performers. - Management doesn't like their customers much on a personal level. - Overwhelmingly liberal with no tolerance for people of differing opinions.

Pros

Colleagues, most of whom are recent college grads, are incredibly intelligent and generally pretty friendly. There are some happy hours and free lunches. The Austin office is located in the heart of downtown, which is cool. However, parking can be pricey.

Cons

The work life balance was seriously lacking. Hours are long, almost everyone eats at their desk because they don't have time to take a lunch break, and you're essentially expected to be on call 24/7. Probably because of this, employees tend to burn out quickly, which leads very high turnover. Also, the work can become very tedious after a while (too much of the same).
