Ignore the negative Glassdoor reviews

I’ve worked at GLG for several years and am eternally grateful for the opportunities the firm has provided me. This company defined the category for a specific type of B2B market research and are making significant waves in other areas of market research. The skills you learn here are critical in any professional setting: project management, sales, people management etc. it has the start up vibe with the perks of being an established org. As someone who came in with no experience, this company invested in me and made me the professional I am today.

Honestly, I think a lot of the negative feedback on Glassdoor comes from young professionals who have a very skewed expectation for what a first job should be (you have to exceed expectations at an entry level to gain more responsibility....) This is a VERY good opportunity as a new grad. When you join the workforce it’s your responsibility to take charge of your career. Regardless of what other Glassdoor reviews have said, I have seen countless transitions of GLGers to other areas of the org once they have proved themselves in client solutions/research. The upward mobility is really unparalleled for twenty somethings, especially without an advanced degree.
