Lots of cold calling/cold emailing, you’re basically a glorified recruiter, very sales environment - it’s a numbers game, expectation is to work a minimum of 10 hours a day plus you have to respond to clients every night and weekend, nobody takes breaks and your team will let you know when they step away from the computer for even a few minutes, be prepared to be very micromanaged

Work with smart, younger people and teamwork is important

Cons

It's a glorified recruiting job with lots of cold calling and emailing. I felt like I was bugging people most of the time but there is no way to get around it. The expected hours are 8-6 but you will stay on until closer to 7. Someone has to be on a night shift every night as well as Holidays. The people that excel in this role are "on" basically all day including weekends. Ask the right questions in the interview to make sure you're the right person for the job.

Cons

-Very competitive environment. -Numbers are everything. -Clients workload can be brutal which makes your workload brutal. -tight deadlines -In private equity most use our competitors so everything is time sensitive.
