Pros

Good benefits (health/dental, transit, summer Fridays). Intelligent and kind people working in the trenches. Decent work/life balance if you know how to manage your time and don't allow yourself be a doormat.

Cons

Corporate culture is very passive-aggressive; being direct, asking questions, and pushing back are all viewed as negative traits, and you'll be told to tone it down or get out. Poor pay (slightly below average by non-profit standards), with no real structure for pay raises or performance reviews. Leadership team is insular and self-reinforcing, leading to low morale and high turnover among the rank-and-file.

Pros

There are a handful of nice people who care about their colleagues.

Cons

Not a good work environment. Doesn't care about employee growth or hiring for positions internally.
