Pros

Friendly people. Has potential to being a world leader. Has some elexcelent products

Cons

It has been over 2 years since the company has started the reorganization. Seems to be getting worse not better. Management sits around and socializes and just waits for the changes from above. They just apologize to employees that things are bad, there is no ownership of any work anymore. Everyone points there fingers at each other's group. There is no quality control, procedures or anything. The individuals that take pride in there work are being burned out as they try to compensate for the issues to keep the customers happy. There is no succession planning, training, mentoring, or goal setting. They try to entice people with money to recomend people for jobs but if you want to keep im good graces with people in your network you don't. This could go on and on...but it isn't worth it as management does not listen to the employees.

GEA Group Response

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We appreciate all feedback. The restructuring requires merging of many systems and procedures. With this, it will take time to adjust to the changes. We believe the restructuring will make for a better future at GEA. We constantly work on establishing and improving our talent programs and development opportunities. For instance, there is a global talent identification process in place that includes succession planning. GEA promotes talent and executives by offering various development programs and training. We strongly recommend you to approach your local HR contact or consult our intranet to learn more about these offers and the respective contact person. Thank you again for the review. Pros

Global player, interesting technology, fine colleagues

Cons

Top management just looks at PowerPoints and figures, not at what is really happening and the story behind it. Very little diversity in thoughts and idea. You either agree or you are out.
