GEA is performing on the back of their employees

Pros

Even during the worst economic periods in the global markets GEA proved to be a healthy company

Cons

GEA is healthy on the back of their employees The lean structure after the reorganization gives you no career opportunities Global Leaderhip does not care about employees American Leadership is incompetent - no real leadership existent The own GEA values are being treated like garbage. Literally nobody lives them. GEA canceled health insurance for one location and forced the employees to go on Obama Care. They are paying an allowance but that doesn't cover the current political tris to kill Obamacare. Yet they are not even considering to put us back on a company plan.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about your negative experience at GEA. We are a big company, with many opportunities. We are sorry that you feel there are no career opportunities for you. Also, sorry that you feel the lack of insurance is unfair. However, we did compensate to help for that. We value all of our employees. Thank you again for taking the time to write a review. We take all reviews into consideration and are working towards a better future at GEA. Pros

Adequate wages, global presence, huge market presence in food processing.

Cons

Management all recently centralized in Germany. Benefits are cut to benefit the quarterly financial statements, poor communication internally, almost impossible to get anything accomplished -- terrible teamwork.

Thank you for the review. We values our employees and pride ourselves with being responsive. However, as you can imagine, we receive lots of input and suggestions. We have to balance that input as it relates to the long-term objectives of the Company, as well as, how it relates to our fellow colleagues. Also, we believe our new restructuring will bring positive changes to GEA. Thank you again for taking the time to write a review.
