Good quality of life, good compensation.

Cons

I have seen steady decline of GE in last 5 years. Managers are truly people manger, lack technical expertise and has no long time vision. Mentoring is hard to come by. There is race to to climb corporate ladder and always led to ego clashes and people down the line are the worst victims. Lots of favorism and buttering. Except for few ( technical / leadership, I truly respect), it has become a junk yard. Stop "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" policy.

GE Brand name. Technology using are new.

Cons

GE transport say they have a very good policy for women but practically they have worst culture. Managers and leads feel that they are gods. Now the transport business is sold.
