Great benefits, having GE on the resume will help you later in life, good place to network and seek opportunities

Cons

Workload is unreasonable, competency within marketing is not the level I was expecting, corporate red tape and process make it difficult to get work done - company is so large that many spend large amounts of energy trying to get individual attention from management - rather than focus on the task at hand that is team-driven

Gain a Well rounded experience. Opportunity to interact cross functionally and gain a wide exposure.There are many smart people to learn from and who can serve as an inspiration.processes are in place but not very obvious, so one needs to be a go getter to succeed.

Pros

The benefits package is the best you can get. Health, vision, dental, unlimited tuition reimbursement. Nobody else has these kinds of benefits. Lots of career opportunities here, you get paid well, you work with good people, it doesn't get much better than this.

Cons

Not many, like any company, management can be unreasonable sometimes, but that happens everywhere. Everything is measured to death. If a number can't be put on it, if it can't fit in a spradsheet, it doesn't mean anything. I wouldn't leave GE unless I was dragged out, kicking and screaming.
