GE Aviation Systems was one of the best intern experiences that I had.

Great projects and people. Assignments that were value-added projects for the company. Very welcoming team environment. The sight I worked at was a smaller site atmosphere.

Cons

A lot of meetings at the site.

Pros

GE has almost infinite resources. Pretty good information exchange among the entire company. Pay rates are competitive. Very good physical environment.

Cons

Seniority is detrimental to your job security. No respect or tolerance of any opinions not generated by management. Either drink the "cool-aid" or look for employment elsewhere. If your not into cronyism you will be overlooked.
