Pros

Connections with senior level executives Some really nice people on the team

Despite the new CEO’s attempt to make things better in terms of us having to lie about who is attending our events, this has not changed. I don’t think she can make it change because this is just what we have to do to sell. The business model is old and stale. Client targets are small to medium sized businesses who don’t know any better. It’s hard to renew because so many clients get burned. It’s an old boy network, many people working there for years who really need to go. Marketing is nonexistent and the events are lacking in anything new or exciting. It’s a revolving door. The mantra that we are experiencing “massive growth” is not quite on the mark. Boiler room old school sales tactics that are not in line with how today’s buyers purchase. It’s a career downgrade versus an upgrade. I will be moving on.

I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your experience so please do reach out to me directly. it's worth noting we have invested heavily in innovating our product and launched H2 with a new program produced by a dedicated (externally facing) team. You are right that I am constantly working to ensure our sales practices are transparent and professional. There is absolutely no need for any misleading or dated tactics as our audience is top notch and our proposition simple and valuable. I would like to hear more about exactly where in the NY office you were/are based so I can ensure we clean up that team and bring it back inline with the rest of the business. Thanks Tanya
