Pros

Good location and commission is reasonable for the work you put in.

FYI managers ask us to write positive reviews to drown out the negative ones.Extremely cliquey, loads of arguments, if you're performing below average you're one of the crowd it appears. No support once you've had you've finished training. Many cases of covid in the office and everyone was still expected to work. The owner Spencer on a floor meeting said that if anyone has been in contact with someone with covid, don't bother isolating. Delete the track and trace app, ignore texts from the NHS. Witnessed Great staff being forced out of the business and having to keep secret, otherwise legal action would be taken against them. Not enough pay for the stress given. No one is ever good enough. You're made to feel bad if you don't work outside of your contracted hours, because your life is GDS as nothing else matters. Team leaders are fresh out of uni, so it's basically wolf of Wall Street including the cocaine taking and sexual harassment. This job is great for someone who hasn't got a life!!!!

Pros

Training - Training has been good here at GDS however when I started there has been a lot of back and forth which has confused me over time and I think there should be more training around systems and salesforce to try and maintain your numbers. Product – GDS – I Can see the value of what we bring our delegates and how we can help them in their day to day roles Support – Support has been there from pod leaders and pillars in my time at GDS – I believe their has been pressure from above but I guess that is the way the world works. Environment – Fantastic environment, best bit of working for GDS is the environment, culture and people Management – I believe their has been pressure applied at times possibly to much however on a whole management has been good Culture – Incredible culture at GDS – And good mix of DSE’S on the floor allows us all to make friends and have similarities. Earnings – Paid very well cannot complain with the income at GDS

The Main Con is if you dont put the work in you wont last

Pros

Training When you start a new job the best way to be successful is to have good training and feel supported. GDS understood that, whether you have previous sales experience or not you will find that GDS has invested in training and that it really prepares you for the job. It does not end there, even when you are 3 or months into the job you will still receive trainings and grow as a professional. For myself GDS taught me everything I know and I can really say that my skills have rocketed thanks to the trainings. Product One of the thing I love most in the job is when delegates says how helpful the roundtables were to them. I think that there’s nothing like the energy of being in a room of like-minded people. I firmly believe in the importance of mastermind groups. GDS events provide a unique convergence of networking, learning, and fun into a single package. Support People are amazing. The best thing about the job is the people. From the CEO to my colleagues, I felt supported from day 1 and everyone is really friendly and funny and welcoming. Environment GDS location is great! near the harborside and in front of Queen's square it is green and beautiful. The office is also nice with large offices and kitchens. Management I can only speak for my manager who is again amazing, supportive and on who you can count if you need guidance and pieces of advice. He will take the time and that helped me to perform really well. Culture Hard work is really recognized. Everyone is supportive and celebrate whatever wins you have and support you and advice you on difficult times. Earnings I think that for an entry level job we are really really well paid. They are very transparent about it and I find it easy to get the commissions. The hard work is recognize. Work life balance Nobody is forced to do extra hours and the office hours a good enough to have plenty of time for yourself after work.

Cons

Culture They are not into the hybrid or remote working and it is very office based. Perks It would be nice to have a private healthcare insurance and some extra perks
