Pros

Ideal company for self-starters, if you have enough drive and patience to get through all the negatives. At the end of the road in F&S you will realise it was worth it. In any other consultancy, you won't get similar levels of exposure in large consulting projects and with senior management of blue chip companies, at such an early stage of your career.

Cons

You have to deal with a lot of bureaucracy and archaic processes; but then again that is the short of situation that makes strong characters, right? Top management's competence is questionable at best. You will either hate it or make do with what you have, though most people go for the former feeling. Compensation is poor and unless you are a salesperson you will get little management praise.

Pros

- good for people with no experience or out of college - new analyst can do almost nothing (especially) in the "new" offices worldwide and still get away with it - good exposure to different markets

Cons

- HR is pathetic - Compensation is 30-40% less then industry average - Senior and top management (partners) care only about their pockets (except rare examples of senior management who started to enter company recently) - No management skills... sorry, its not possible to call it management. - Huge employee's turnover rate
