Revolving door of unhappy support staff

Nice offices and perks (soft drinks & coffee), occasional free lunch. Great support staff.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations from management without putting any emphasis on training. Promotes culture of fear and blame where employees are afraid to ask questions- I've had a peer procrastinate for hours on a number of tasks for fear of asking the supervisor for help. Out of date IT systems which further slow down efficiency.

The managers are useless and do not do their job properly. It is very cliquey. I was in a PA role and worked for 8 managers who did not treat you as a person but as a slave who could do 10 things at once! Did not have time for lunch and their attitude was very condescending.

Cons

Very underhand and devious manager who acted illegally.

Fabulous group of HR senior managers and managers in 2018. All very experienced and knowledgeable.

Cons

HR leadership team is non existent. None of them have valid experience but are all paid ridiculous salaries. HR Services in Manchester is a disaster and the sooner the plug is pulled the better. The team in Manchester are so far removed from the legal professional world in London - it is truly alarming.
