Terrible IT - inbred and cliquey crowd with self interests and only surface camaraderie that breaks down easily.

Pros

The money can be good and you can work from home. Large budgets for PR activities to try and raise their external profile mean you can socialise outside of the clique once in a while.

Cons

Terrible IT management who don't have a clue how to develop staff and push out new talent to make themselves look good. Training is not very structured and internal processes poor.

Pros

The people and the culture really stand out! Everyone is friendly, engaging, respectful and very team oriented. There is the sense that the HR Manager is always looking out for you - always kind and empathetic to your stress and frustrations, and does what is in her power to help. That trickles down to how the firm functions - nice people working hard together.

Cons

The refrigerator in the cafe stocks sparkling water but not flat water? First world problems....
