Pros

Worked for Freshfields Business Services in London - good work life balance. Training opportunities. Nice offices in London. A very English approach and care to their communications which was endearing. For example, due to a very hot day in London and the air con not working so well, a note was sent around to say that ice-creams would be shared in the afternoon to those people that has suffered the heat. (The temperature hadn't been pleasant, but it could have been a lot worse).

Cons

Had a years contract at Freshfields. However it means that five thousand pounds my salary I didn't get to see as it went to 'benefits' that I didn't have benefit from.

Pros

Good company with good benefits and resources. Good training opportunities and interesting work with diverse people. Push the boat out for functions and christmas parties

Cons

But slow moving and behind in terms of tech. Opening of the global business centre means there is lots of change on the horizon that may take time to stabalise.
