Pros

- Free parking - Free lunches (taxable benefit) - Free hotel stays on vacation, based on availability - Offices for Managers and up (lots of natural light and privacy)

Cons

- Changes to top management over past five years have completely changed the culture and environment of corporate office; not in a positive way. - Corporate communication is very poor.

Pros

Benefits are great although compensation is less than desirable.

Cons

To guide leadership through unethical customs when it comes on to hiring and promoting makes HR unethical. HR is never looking out for the employees only leadership. There is a lack of minorities in leadership positions. Work hard and that’s a recipe for not getting promoted especially on the 6th floor. 6th floor is severely underpaid where most the minorities are housed. Prejudice is consistently brushed under the carpet. The golden rule is... wait, what golden rule. The golden rule is foreign to leadership. If you speak out about anything, guaranteed you’re black listed and often targeted. Leadership abuse their authority and often remind employees of their title. With Evolve on the horizon one can only hope for real change and not the forever pretence I’ve witnessed for over 10 years. Why have I stayed? I loved the company and Issy Sharp’s vision plus I’ve invested so many years into the company. The place is great minus the corrupted that tainted the company. HR, please review 6th wages! Encourage management and the rest of the building to treat the minorities on the 6th like humans and give them equal opportunity as non-minorities.

Great place to stay, not so much to work.

Pros

The benefits are decent however with the minimum wage increasing in the state the pay isn't as attractive as it once was.

Cons

Unless you know someone at one of the more popular properties, London, France, Miami etc, you're not getting in. No room for advancement unless you brown nose. Friendliness & compliance is appreciated more than efficiency. Do NOT ask any questions. Yes, they have a cafeteria but at times the food is un-recognizable. You don't know if its chicken, or fish etc. There is no leadership in upper management on PC (planning Committee) as they refer to themselves at the Baltimore property. Just a bunch of pretentious bosses who park orders, want you to implement unrealistic polices (based on the location) only to cower & buckle when guests make a fuss. If they actually adhered to the companies standards it would be wonderful. Treat ALL employees with respect, courtesy, and stop the passive aggressive, middle school behavior.
