Pros

Review Is for Silicon Valley property only** Entertaining to watch a circus

Cons

Very disorganized. There’s a reason exec chef left before the year and they’re having trouble retaining employees. Currently looking for exec chef, exec Sous, and Sous chef. I suggest you don’t apply. Save yourself the time

Pros

Decent cash tips. Usually 100-200 per day

Cons

Lack of respect from management. Nobody really cares about your existence. They just want you to shut up and do your job. Don't bother trying to say how things could be done more efficiently or effectively.

Pros

Great benefits, cash tips, pooled general cash tips plus commission. Opportunity to try all activities you provide to guests. The company itself provided really good health benefits, laundered uniform, lunch is provided and paid for, and you always have the opportunity to learn more or help other properties or departments

Cons

It feel like the qualifications they apply to managers is inconsistent. While they say they prefer to promote within it seems as if it's more who you know than what you know or can bring to the team. Rather than promoting employees with over 5+ years of department on the job experience , they will hire someone outside of the company with no experience but a BA in a field completely irrelevant to the job. They value having a degree no mater what it's in than teaching those who have been with the department for years just because their is no degree. It's impossible to balance a family or person life. While I don't mind the overtime, even though you may be scheduled to be off at a specific time rarely do you get off on time. This job would be extremely hard for single parent or parents with younger children.
