- Extremely slow pace for moving up; very limted opportunities for promotions
- Very competitive work environment especially with Division Heads (the directors) who do whatever it takes to please the Regional Vice Presidents and Corporate Office Officials as a way to move up
- Managers are expected to work very hard with very limited staffing and resources while pretending that this is okay
- Four Seasons does not own the hotels and resorts. They are just the management company. The real owners are outside investors who are stricly focused on profitability.
- Poor compensation package - very low salary for assistant managers and department heads
- Not a good fit for work life balance for students and families. You will be asked to work on weekends, holidays and fluctuating days off 90% of the time.
