      - Nice people - Fair amount of autonomy - Good technical competency in Accounting, Tax practices - Financial Services industry experience is strong

      Cons

      - Glacial internal speed change in response to external market changes - Focus on small and medium size companies; little ability to compete with Big 4-type firms on larger clients - Lack of diversity - If you're not part of where the leaders came from, you won't get promoted - Benefits are awful, unless of course you're a partner - Consulting (GRC and Management Consulting) practice not supported by leadership at any level - Low investment in training

As you mentioned, we pride ourselves on the mentoring provided by seasoned staff as well as helping employees achieve good work-life integration, particularly during busy season. We also prioritize resource allocation and expend a lot of time, energy, and effort in the process. In this regard we endeavor to maximize both the needs and interests of the employee as well as those of the company. Our company places a great deal of emphasis on timely and consistent feedback in order to meet our employees’ career objectives. In fact, we have recently delivered firm-wide training on the topic of “Delivering and Receiving Transformative Feedback”.       A Top-10 firm unable to compete with the others

      Pros

      There is good ownership of work at Mazars- from day one I was thrown in at the deep-end. From planning to reporting, they gave me a lot of responsibility. Amazing offices in London- great view of the Tower of London and the City

      Cons

      Salary isn't competitive- hard to justify staying there given other company offerings. Not much of a tone from the top- very little culture. New people coming in were of a much lower quality- carrying a lot more weight
