Pros

Experience experience experience Learned the basic foundations of working retail If you can keep up here any big box store or a cashier job is cake Alot to learn about fashion in detail Semi good discounts If you can hold out and be mngmnt pay is decent This company is alot of places as in you can live just about anywhere with a shopping mall and transfer

Cons

Dirt cheap pennies for pay Little hours Favoritism can be ramped so hard-work can go unnoticed HR allows alot of retaliation favoritism The place is constantly an unmanaged unorganized mess that just gives you anxiety as a employee or customer Place is nasty no matter how much u clean Hours are nutts ex close at nine clean up until midnight Tons and tons of shoplifters that arent prosecuted so they run ramped Start out picking clothes up off the floor maintaining a section then maybe cashier-50€ raise- then maybe visual merchandising and you can actually pay bills on your own

Pros

flexible hours, I suppose, as well as first look at merchandise

Cons

extremely exploitative environment management routinely bent over backwards to avoid periodic reviews in order to keep wages lower pathetic employee discount stock room was a health hazard. dozens of safety violations at any given point, as well as associates expected to climb stacks of boxes in order to do stock because the stock room was too full to fit a ladder

Pros

Helping customers find cute outfits

Cons

Where do I even begin with this place... First, if you are scheduled from 2 p.m. until close, you're not leaving until about 11p.m. You're only going to get a 30 minute break at the most so don't worry about looking cute because you'll be on your feet all day...wear comfortable shoes. 10% employee discount and you can only use it for family members, not friends.(new rule) You'll get the most informal training ever! I've been called off the floor in the middle of working to watch a video on how to properly arrange the shelves. Really? I have to yet be trained on the register and I've been here a month. Also, if you're part-time and interested in working another job, you cannot work for a similar company (h&m,zara, express, etc) because it's considered a conflict of interest. The managers are very unprofessional, childish even. I can't wait to quit! Forever 21 loves to call you in randomly to work even when you're not scheduled. The pay is 8.10 with no experience, which is hardly a living wage.
