Pros

Room for growth, fast paced, great new corporate office, cheap lunches, Starbucks in office, great healthcare plans, some really awesome people

Cons

Awful pay, weak leadership, lack of communication, disorganized, terrible approval system, a place that often makes you laugh because it's such a joke

Pros

First pick at clothing, able to learn how to handle different types of customers, freedom during lunch to go where you want, okay pay for cashiers, learn how to be a do visual merchandiser duties which was cool. A new change in the company has cause them to do away with "titles" so people are no longer called cashiers, sales associates, managers, or visual merchandisers. With that you are able to switch between roles. You carry on all the duties of the former titles which grants you more experience but with no titles comes no authority and with that there are lots of cons.

Cons

Low pay, difference in pay between cashiers and sales associates, no titles so your work load is extremely heavy as you are expected to do a lot of things at once and take care of them right away, corrupt managers, a history of stealing money from employees and editing hours to make it seem like we worked less hours than we did, you will get scolded for not assisting every single customer even though managers give you a lot to do within your shift. Turnover rate is terrible. New employees every single month who don't know what they are doing so you are left to do what they did wrong arena make it right. Long overnight shifts from 10pm to 7am. You cannot leave until they say you can. Even if you are scheduled to leave at a certain time they will sometimes keep you 2-4 hours later than scheduled. Very little hours so paycheck is even lower, no full time options, everyone is part time so you get no benefits, they hire a mass amount of people every few months even though we do not have the pay roll to support everyone, you are always under a high pressure/high stress situation, customers are rude to you and expect everything done when they want it done, you cannot leave the fitting rooms to help customers which results in upset customers, clothing is never organized, managers treat you like you are slave workers honestly. A lot of drama all the time.

Pros

The company is fast paced which means everyday will be different. There is room to explore new roles and grow within the company. There are some incredibly talented people working here that you can learn invaluable knowledge from.

Cons

It is not the same company I joined originally. Forever 21 is privately held and run 100% by the original family. Unfortunately this great company is being destroyed by their lack of business acumen as well as their reactive and emotional behavior. It is not uncommon for the executive leaders to yell and be abhorrently unprofessional. Talented individuals are leaving the company in droves.
